The role of the Patient Services Agent is to convey the benefits of patient involvement in their own care and to assist them in getting a copy of their own medical records so that they stay informed.
You need to understand and believe in patient involvement in their own care. You’re a good communicator (listening and speaking), you have a talent for persuasion (there’s an element of “selling” involved), and you know how to help others help themselves.
Other skills required:
- Good keyboarding skills
- Attention to detail
- Good organization and planning
With wage and bonus, our average performing Agent will earn $40K+ per year. Our top performer will see $45K+. We also offer health benefits.
While preference will be given to those with prior experience in a healthcare or call center setting, we are open to those who “have the right stuff” and are quick learners.
